Modern computer technology has become a major tool of support for many research projects in the field of the Humanities. On February 21, 2017, Digital Humanities Munich (dhmuc) opens the door once again for another Site-Visit at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and the Humanities (BAdW): Three projects launched by the BAdW will demonstrate how digital innovations can support and inspire research in the field of the humanities: The Lexicon musicum, the Bayerische Wörterbuch und the Corpus of baroque Ceiling Painting in Germany (CbDD).

Prof. Stephan Hoppe and PD Dr. Ute Engel from the Corpus of Baroque Ceiling Painting in Germany will discuss the potential of the latest methods in 3D-Visualization for art historical research.
